Welcome to AltRepo. By accessing or using our website and developer tools (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AltRepo concerning your access to and use of the Site and Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.
2. Description of Service
AltRepo provides a suite of local-first developer tools designed to run directly within your web browser. Because the tools run locally, we do not monitor, store, or have access to the data you input into them. The tools are provided entirely free of charge for your personal or professional development use.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is" Clause)
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. AltRepo expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We make no warranty that (i) the Services will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the tools (such as generated code or formatted data) will be accurate or reliable. You download or otherwise obtain material through the use of the Services at your own discretion and risk.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall AltRepo, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Because our tools run entirely on your local machine, we are not responsible for any data loss, browser crashes, or system instability that may occur as a result of using the tools.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, or impairs the functionality of the Site. You may not use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Site in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
6. Intellectual Property
While the developer tools are free for you to use, the AltRepo brand, logo, website design, UI chassis, and original content are the intellectual property of AltRepo and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the website shell or branding without explicit permission.
